Barcut Pro uses no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking. The only cookies and browser storage we use are needed to run the Service or to remember choices you have made in it. Under Irish and EU law (the ePrivacy rules), storage of this kind does not need your consent, so there is no cookie banner.

Both cookies are first-party, HttpOnly (page scripts cannot read them) and sent only over HTTPS.
Browser storage
The app also saves some settings in your browser's local storage, so they are still there next time:

This data stays on your device. It is sent to us only when you choose to save it to your account.
Analytics without cookies
Our product analytics (PostHog) and page-view counts (Vercel Web Analytics) set no cookies and store nothing on your device. See "Product analytics" in the Privacy Policy for what is measured.
Third-party pages
- Checkout. When you subscribe, you complete payment on Stripe's checkout page (checkout.stripe.com). Stripe sets its own cookies there for security and fraud prevention, under Stripe's cookie policy.
- Buy Me a Coffee. The optional support window is loaded from buymeacoffee.com, which may set its own cookies once you open it.
Managing cookies
You can delete cookies and site data in your browser's settings at any time. If you delete the sign-in cookie you will be signed out. If you delete bp_anon, you get a new anonymous identifier. Clearing local storage resets your saved settings and the guided tour.
Changes
If we ever add a cookie that is not strictly necessary, such as for analytics or marketing, we will update this page and ask for your consent before setting it.
