Cut lengths from a bar schedule

Take the straight cut lengths and quantities off your bar bending schedule and enter them as the cutting list — the optimizer doesn’t generate the schedule itself, it optimizes how the listed lengths are cut from stock.

Standard stock lengths

Reinforcement bar is usually supplied in a small number of standard lengths — enter each one you have available so the optimizer can choose between them per pattern.

Kerf or shear loss

Whether bar is cut by saw or sheared, there’s a real loss per cut. Use the actual figure for your cutting method rather than treating it as negligible.

Scope

Barcut Pro optimizes cut lengths only. Bending schedules, bar marks, tagging and placement drawings are a separate workflow this does not cover.
