Within 14 days of subscribing, as a consumer: this cancels your contract under your statutory right to cancel. We stop the subscription and refund every payment you made for it within 14 days, to the payment method you used. This includes a subscription that started with a free trial.
At any other time, or as a business: this stops your subscription from renewing. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for. You can also do this yourself under Manage subscription on your billing page.
